Our standard collection time is from 2pm and return time is by 11am. We are flexible where we can be depending on other bookings. Where a return time is agreed it’s important to stick to it so other people’s holidays aren’t disrupted.
Yes! Additional drivers (up to four in total) can be added for a small extra daily fee.
The security deposit is £1000 and must be paid on the day of collection via a credit or debit card in the name of the main driver. No cash, or any other form of payment, can be accepted.
Yes! All of our vehicles have heating which makes them suitable for year round use. Out of peak season can be a great time to rent a motorhome or campervan – quieter roads, atmospheric scenery, and cheaper rates!
Yes. In peak season our minimum rental is usually 3 but the nightly price is higer for shorter rentals. In winter we offer 2 night rentals. Where possible we do try to be flexible.
Depending on season, our collection and return days are generally Monday to Friday but in peak season it may be restricted to Mondays and Fridays.
It depends. If we don’t have a collection or return on the same day we may be flexible but where we have another holidaymaker due to depart on the same day it’s only fair on them that the vehicle is returned in time to be prepared for the following guests. When booking we can let you know if there is any flexibility but unless confirmed by us in writing we must insist on sticking to the usual collection and return times.
Yes! All of our vehicles can be used withing the EU but this must be selected when booking so that we can prepare the legal paperwork required. We need at least 14 days notice for bookings when traveling to the EU.
Yes, all vehicles have comprehensive breakdown cover for your peace of mind. Details of the cover are provided within the welcome pack inside each vehicle.
If due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to provide a motorhome or campervan for your holiday we will provide a full refund including the Booking Deposit as soon as practical. Such a circumstance would be a vehicle being unexpectedly off the road do to breakdown or accident, for example.
Yes – we have a dog ourselves our lovely border collie Ben! By prior arrangement we accept up to two well behaved dogs in all of our vehicles. We ask that the dogs are well trained, kept of soft furnishings, and any evidence of their presence is cleaned before returning the vehicle. Where there is any evidence of damage or fouling then we reserve the right to charge a cleaning and / or repair fee.
Yes, all vehicles have a televison complete with DVD player to keep everyone entertained when it’s raining. Not that it will rain of course!
Yes. As part of our terms and conditions we only allow each vehicle to carry as a maximum the same number of passengers as there are seatbelts.
Yes, you can fit them but we ask that you supply and fit them yourself so that you can sastify yourself that they are fitted securely. There are no isofix fittings in any of our vehicles.
When placing a booking a non refundable deposit of £300 (or if less than this, the cost of the booking) must be paid to secure the booking. If you cancel with more than six weeks before the collection date you will lose the deposit.
Any balance for your booking is due six weeks before the collection date – our system will email you to remind you when to make payment, along with a link to make the payments securely online.
Should you need to cancel your rental less than six weeks before collection we will endeavour to rehire the motorhome or campervan and if we are successful will refund the re-hire value less the £300 booking deposit otherwise you will forfeit the deposit plus any hire fees paid.
We recommend that you take out your own adequate insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
If, on arrival to collect the motorhome or campervan your license is unacceptable due to endorsements, defacement or incorrect vehicle categories, we rgeret that we will be unable to hand over the vehicle and no monies will be refunded.
The booking deposit is a payment of £300 paid at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. This fee is non refundable in the event of cancellation. Bookings are not confirmed until this fee has been paid and a confirmation email sent by us.
Yes, by law all vehicles are no smoking. We don’t mind vaping though! If there’s any evidence of smoking we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee plus any damge repair fee.
Yes. All dirvers must be aged between 25 and 75. Please see our Insurance Terms for more information. We regret that should any of the insurance requirements not be met then, by law, we cannot allow the vehicle to be driven. In this circumstance you will also forfeit any deposit or hire charges that have been paid.
Yes, you can leave one vehicle with us free of charge. The site is a secure storage site but please note that all vehciles are left at the onwer’s or driver’s risk.
Yes! We provide evertyhing you need to get in a drive and enjoy your holiday.
All beds come with freshly laundered mattress protetors and most people then provide their own bedding, whether its sleeping bags or sheets and duvets.
No, there’s currently no mileage limit.
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of diesel and we ask that you return them with a full tank. Where the tanks is not full on return will charge the cost of filling plus a £50 fee (we need to drive some distance to fill up and it might make us late for the following rental!)
Yes. Where vehicles have two gas canisters there will always be one full one and one part full. This will usually be plenty for pretty much any length of holiday but if you do need more whilst away you can swap canisters like for like at plenty of places across the UK. Our VW only has space for one canister so if this runs out it will need to be swapped at a Campignaz supplier – we will refund the cost of this on return of the vehicle.
All vehicles are equipped with fire extinguisher, fire blanket, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, warning triangle, high-visibility vests and first aid kit.
Yes! It is a legal requirement that all rental motorhomes and campervans have a valid landlord’s gas safety certificate. These are issued annually and are available for inspection in the welcome folder within your vehicle.
