All of our vehicles are fitted with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire blanket and fire extinguisher and come complete with a valid legally required Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificate (many rental vehicles do not have this certificate). We also provide high visibility jackets and warning triangles in case of breakdown.

All vehicles benefit from full European breakdown cover should you need any assistance whilst on holiday (EU travel by prior arrangement only).

Pets

This motorhome is dog friendly. A maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are kept off soft furnishings, are well behaved and any evidence of their presence is kept to a minumum. Any damage (e.g. chewing) will result in a charge from the security deposit.

Booking Terms

This is a brief summary of the main terms for making a booking. Our full terms can be viewed here.

Standard collection time is from 2pm and return is by 11am. Depending on other bookings earlier collection or later return may be possible but it is very important agreed collection and return times are adhered to in order not to disrupt other customer collections.

For new bookings made at least six weeks (42 days) before collection, the standard non-refundable Booking Deposit is 25% of the final Hire Charge after applicable discounts, with a minimum of £250, but never more than the total Hire Charge. DoW may require a higher minimum Booking Deposit for hires connected with particular events or periods of increased demand, including Glastonbury Festival, Formula 1 and similar major events. The minimum Booking Deposit for Swift Voyager hires overlapping 23–27 June 2027 (Glastonbury Festival) is £500. The 25% calculation still applies if it is higher than the applicable minimum, and the Booking Deposit will never exceed the total Hire Charge. Any higher minimum will be shown before payment and confirmed in the booking. The deposit forms part of the total Hire Charge. The remaining balance is due in full six weeks before collection. For bookings made less than six weeks before collection, the full Hire Charge is payable on booking. These revised Booking Deposit provisions apply only to new bookings made from 12 October 2026 after their introduction. Existing bookings retain the terms, Booking Deposit, payments already made and outstanding balance agreed when booked; this update does not vary them.

In the event of cancellation by you the following charges apply: More than six weeks (42 days) before collection: the Booking Deposit, four to six weeks before the Collection Time: 50% of the Hire Charge, less than four weeks before collection: 100% of the Hire Charge.

A £1000 security deposit is payable by credit or debit card only in the name of the main driver on the day of collection. (No cash can be accepted). All drivers *must* be present on collection of the vehicle, complete with their driving licence and ID documents as specified.

It is essential that all drivers are able to satisfy the requirements of our insurers. You can read them here. If any of these terms cannot be satisfied we regret that we will be unable to release the vehicle and no monies can be refunded.

Swift Edge 486 for Hire – 4 / 6 Berth Motorhome

Our Swift Edge 486 four / six berth motorhome is a perfect family vehicle for up to 6 people or for couples who like plenty of space! There are two large lounges – one at the front and one at the rear which makes up into a large double bed – ideal if you want space during the day or can be left made up as a bed and use the front lounge instead.

Vehicle rental cost:

Based on a Fiat cab with manual transmission this lovely motorhome has a front dinette with plenty of seating that converts into a double bed if required as well as the large rear lounge that converts to a double bed. Above the cab is another large double bed that folds up out of the way during the day. There’s a TV with DVD and a large extendable table for all the family to eat at.

Up above there’s a huge double bed with access via a ladder. This bed has its own window cozy reading light and a net to stop any younger members of the family from falling out!

The kitchen has hob, gas / electric fridge with freezer compartment and even a microwave too. An extendable worktop provides extra space for food prepartion. Crockery, pots and pans, cutlery, kitchen wipes, washing up liquid, everything you need for an easy getaway is provided.

Gas and electric heating with a wetroom shower / toilet with large fresh and grey water tanks puts the freedom of off-grid motorhoming within reach.

There’s storage under the seats for all your essentials plus a bike rack for up to 4 bikes. We provide an outdoor table and six chairs to enjoy al fresco dining.
